For twenty plus years I was an owner/president of a small regional construction company. My greatest satisfaction during those years came from improving people’s lives; whether it was developing the skills and talent of a employee to improve their self-worth, exceeding expectations of a client who had an extraordinary ask or improving an end user’s quality of life through my company’s work. Fast forward a few years and  I realized that despite loving the work I was doing, the job of running a small business was too much. In 2018, I sold the business and asked myself: “now what?”

I knew I still wanted the satisfaction of improving people’s lives and I still wanted to be counted on, and determined that the best way for me to reach these wants was to manage projects. I recognized that being overwhelmed could take the joy out of everything - and I wanted to help. Since my transition, I have served as project management consultant to a variety of high-level clients and projects. Through my experience I have confidently added capacity to organizations that reduces the stress of my clients so they sleep a little better.
